The National Joint Conference of the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and the Association on Aging (ASA)

The NCOA & ASA held a joint conference on "The Changing Face Of Aging".  BERGFELD's presented a pre-conference intensive program, "Working With Elderly Hoarders - practical approaches and solutions".                                       

The purpose of this progam was to educate a diverse group of professionals from the fields of health, law, housing, psychology, and social work about this complex disorder and to provide a framework for understanding and assessing hoarding behavior.
